Why Cell Groups - why now?

The early church functioned and thrived in a 1st century Roman culture.  They related to and reached the lost around based on the culture that surrounded them.  Since the early church began in Acts, the culture of Western society and the rest of the world has changed dramatically.  Many things have changed within our culture, since the turn of the century.  Over 200 years have passed since the invention of Sunday school in the late 1700's.  Our own Southern Baptist Convention is as old as the Civil War.  Since the revolution of Sunday school, that began in the 1920's and culminated in the late 1960's, America has changed dramatically.

There are countless lost people moving into Tarrant county and into the area surrounding NFWBC.  Cell Groups are an attempt to bring the redemptive message of the Gospel into their lives, through the testimony and friendship of believers committed to living out the Great Commission - to GO...
